| I first met Jeff when we were assigned it E-2 as plebes. I was not yet 18 and I envied his ability to take the harassment in stride. Our squad leaders were roommates so we often posted together to their room for inspections et. al. He never seemed to catch the flac the rest of us did. We also were in the Artillery advanced course at Ft. Sill together where he always had a pleasant word to say whenever we talked. While I didn't stay in the Army long after that when I last saw him at the 30th it was as if we had never parted. He was an easy man to like. He will be missed by all who knew him. Larry Bryan |
