Barbara met Tom and Amber with two of our grandkids one day in 2004 or 2005 at one of Tom's favorite daytime hangouts, "The Bean" coffee shop in Punta Gorda. Amber was admiring the kids and struck up a conversation. Subsequently, we shared many enjoyable dinners at Bianca's or another of Tom's favorite Italian restaurants. I had many interesting conversations with him about his military history (what he could speak about); he was my kind of patriot, loved our country, very generous, spoke lovingly of his family. Always enjoyed his company. God blessed us by sharing him with us. |
