The first time I flew into Dak To, I was reminded of the stories about the French and Dien Ben Phu. The surrounding mouintains and central plain, with a small airstrip. Not all of us made it out. Mike was with the 173 Abn, a company commander, in some of the fiercest fighting of the war. Not many of us were ever called to serve our country as he did that day. Mike, I'm very proud of you. I stop by to see your Mom when I'm close.
