| Ltc William H. Landgraf. I was very sad to hear of your death. I carried your company radio in the states before we went to Viet Nam in 1967, and for a short while with B company 3/506th Infantry. You talked to me many times about West Point and the swim team. I talked to my nephew Paul Christianson who is now a member of the Long Gray Line. My Son Matt also graduated from West Point in 2005. I talked to you when he entered West Point as a Plebe, and you gave him a contact at West Point. I believe he was your Nephew who was a Firstie. It is hard to believe that a man I so admired is now passed on. Currahee,Sir. My Son Matt is a Captain and Company Commander with the 82nd Airborne. |
