Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bob Ames on September 2, 2008:

Bill and I were fortunate enough to share the same "plebe pop", Captain Scotty Adams, who died in a plane crash our cow year. Being in different regiments we did not see each other that often but I remember his great wit and very easy going manner. I don't believe he ever got rattled and I so enjoyed hearing him recount his boyhood stories. It is always tragic to lose a good person so young, Bill was a tremendous example of an outstanding officer and graduate of the Academy.
