| I first met John at plebe track. The next time I met him was second semester, Firstie year when I was assigned to be his roommate on Brigade staff. I could not beleive my luck, my two new roommates - John and Tanker were two of the smartest and best guys in the Corps, and I was one of the most mathematicaly challenged. John took it upon himself to tutor me and make sure I gaduated. He graduated 9th in the Class and I graduated. I think that without me as the albatross, John would have graduated a few files up. I menioned this to Violet, John's mother, and she said "He did the right thing, that's the way I brought him up" |
