| I know this is more a thank you rather than a eulogy, but it says what I would have said to Mike. Plus, I do not want to be sympathetic when there is so much to be thankful for. Mike was an extraordinary person, kind, caring, helpful, and above all, loving. His work to hire and mentor me during the early stages of my career was invaluable and will never be forgotten. Those three summers changed my life and surely shaped the direction and success of my professional career giving me experience and ability beyond my years. Mike asked for nothing in return. He was generous that way with his trust and with his love. When he came to my college graduation I was elated and proud. Though his lessons were important, I believe the teacher is the one I'll never forget. Thanks Mike! |
