Bill was our K-1 company commander. Certainly one of the most impressive company commanders in the Corps. Everyone knew Bill. He was an outstanding cadet, great football player and wonderful classmate. Our paths did not cross very much after graduation, but I kept track of his terrific career and was never surprised by his success after graduation. Those of us fortunate enough to know him already knew Bill was a winner. We have lost a good friend and role model. Bill was a leader in every respect. Be at rest Bill. You lived a great life.
