Didn't know Art at school, but got to know him the last few years when George Ruggles,Ray Paske, Art and I would have dinner together in Palm Desert, Ca in March. Initially Art was reserved, but quickly loosened up when he realized Ruggles and I are off the wall, just there to have fun. Art joined in and we had enjoyable times. He was a terrific guy and we'll miss his company. |
