Be Thou At Peace

| Just the opposite of Bub Pickup, my connection to Steve was more recent (although I did know who he was when we were cadets). Recently, Steve started showing up at Bob Radcliffe's golf outings, and I got to play with Steve. Everything that Bub related was still true to this day. Steve was at the outing to have fun, and fun is what he had. He told stories, he played golf with abandon and he was generally great to be with. His passing will not go unnoticed, and clearly, it may be said of him "Well done. Be thou at peace." |
