Gene, Although our Army career paths did not cross, I know that we would always have the friendship and memories shared in the Catholic Choir during our four years at West Point. We would have recalled the change in the mass from Latin to English, and seeing some of us being moved from the choir loft to sing the "populo" with the mass congregation. We would remember Msgr Moore and Cardinal Spellman when we sang the Gregorian chant at St Patrick's Cathedral, and the many other choir trips to sing masses and musicals at the various churches and Catholic girls colleges in the New York area. In any case I know now as you dwell in the many "mansions of the lord" you will find a place "singing with the angels". Our hearts and prayers go with you. Love, Art, Terri, and family |
