My sympathy to the Parrish family. I've always retained fond memories of Don, because, in the summer of 1961, we traveled together from Omaha to enter West Point . We had not met previously, but our fathers contacted each other and set this up. We spent a sleepless night in a room in the Thayer hotel, sharing anxieties and guesses as to what the next day would hold. RIP |
