Jack, My memories of you were always of a quiet smiling person, whether as a cadet in the Catholic Chapel Choir, as a musician in the Cadet orchestra, a fellow 2d Regiment file, or later when we were to meet again in Chicago when I was at Fort Sheridan and UIC. Speicial to me is your support of allowing women, especially my daughter Nicolette (Class of 1991), to join the long gray line and become great leaders in the military. It is no wonder that with your quiet smile and positive demeanor you became a great mediator and arbitrator of complex issues. You have been and will be remembered in our prayers. Be thou at peace!
