Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bob Axley on July 23, 2009:

Jack Cooley was one of the nicest and brightest people I have ever met. My good fortune was to have been his roommate during Beast Barracks and a portion of our Plebe year. I never saw Jack angry or ever heard him utter an unkind word about anyone. He was the consummate gentleman; always quick to offer encouragement and support. It is no wonder that he became an outstanding Mediator and Judge, and a noted author. He leaves behind an enduring legacy of goodness.

And when our work is done,
Our course on earth is run,
May it be said, 'Well Done;
Be Thou At Peace.'

Jack, we will miss your bright smile and generous spirit. "Well Done. Be Thou At Peace".
