I remember very clearly meeting Don and the rest of the squad with the longevity record on that hot July 5, 1961. Don looked like the soldier he was. I also thought that he was one tough hombre. He helped us survive Beast. I consider myself fortunate to have beeen one of his Beast roommates and a member of our unique squad. Don, it has been an honor to have been your friend and Classmate.
