| We met in Germany, frigid FRG at the time, and Dave always impressed us with his outlook.... friendly, optimistic, cheerful... Lost track of him after that until, long after VietNam, we met again through 2/36 Inf connection and email. We began an occasional correspondence which has gone on over the last 15? years, and always enjoyed Dave's perspective, wry humor, outlook, and love for Stash. What a stash he got! A lady, for sure. So surprised to hear their painful news, and grateful for the friendship we had, and his now resting in eternity. Well done, Dave. You gave love, kindness, friendship, humor, steadfastness to many.... a great example to follow. |
