| You can say that Don, Jerry Hoffman, and I really began our West Point "strength and drive" journey as "beast" room mates. I can recall vividly our first day when the Hell Cats started drumming up and we awoke in a mad frenzy in our first attempt to get dressed and out to formation where we had to "drive into late ranks" under the continuous shouting of Ray Ong. We will miss you and you will always be remembered by me for the early times we shared (like rolling and rolling "horse shoe rolls" for our packs, multi clothing formations, and re-arranging our whole room after it was stuffed in a matress cover). Be thou at peace "roomie" and friend forever. |
