| I got to know Hal and his family while we were on active duty while he was stationed at WP and I had some TDY there. We were later assigned to Ft Leavenworth for several years until we both retired. We then worked as contractors at Ft L for several years. Hal was a great officer and friend during all those years. Always cheerful and upbeat and ready to help anyone in need. Our daughters became the best of friends while in high school. Our prayers go out to the Jenkins family. Rest in peace my friend. S&D |
