| I was Chuck's squad leader in A 1 in 1962/63. I was privileged to have Chuck and Chet Meyers as yearlings in my squad at that time. A 1 had a great class of yearlings, and Chuck was one of the best. We had a lot of fun comparing Dodge City with New York City, my home town. He was smart, buttoned down with a great sense of humor. A terrible loss. |
