| I knew Ladd very well, in our Cadet Dayz; we struggled together through some times which were at once difficult yet exciting. He is a man of great courage and resourcefulness. Quiet and thoughtful, he had a unique compassion for everyone. He could find the opportunity in every difficulty: "The Classic Optimist." His kind words and timely encouragement saw many of us through the "tough times." All who knew him, loved him...as a great friend, soldier..and "Peace-Maker." |
