Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tom Abraham on December 24, 2010:

Chuck: I can't let you get lonely up there. Know that I'm thinking of you and miss you. We were close for 4 years. The first two in F-1 were the formidable years. We had a lot of fun. Laughing about the silly things the upperclassmen would do to us thinking they were causing us pain. They didn't know that a guy that wrassles alligators like you did had to have a sense of humor. And of course, you are forever indebted to me for agreeing to take your new beautiful '65 Vette out for a run every week while you were locked up for demerits. Thank goodness I made the time to help you out. Or did I talk you into it? Can't remember. So, just because there aren't many eulogies out there don't think we all aren't thinking of you. We just don't seem to get around to writing about our friends who are gone. We had a gang, didn't we. Jack Terry, Tommy Shaw, Tony Livic, Joe Petchkofsky, Guy Riley, Mark Sheridan. Great crew, and we all miss you. Take care. Save me a spot. Do they have Vettes up there?
