| Mike was a dedicated officer who was a personification of "Duty Honor Country. I am sad that none of his fellow officers in the 2/9 Cav have found this site and commented on his impact on them. Mike and I commanded two different border camps on the FRG border with East Germany and CZ in "67-68". We were butter bars who were given the awesome task of manning the frontiers of freedom without NCOs and senior leadership, while the main effort of the Army was Viet Nam. He did his Duty with Honor and love of Country well. God Bless Mike and the USA. |
