I served with Claude Alexander as a LT both at Benning in the early days and later in the 101st Abn in Vietnam. I had thought that he had died in the helicopter crash that killed Paul Sawtelle so finding this was a pleasant surprise. I'm overjoyed to find that he survived to have a good and productive life. We came from different sections of the country but were both country boyz that liked horsepower. He was a fine man and I only wish that I had known him after the war. RIP Claude.
