Be Thou At Peace

Lt. Paul Sawtelle was my platoon leader. He was a leader who treated his men fairly. He inspired us to be better soldiers and to be leaders. He would never ask a man to take on a mission that he himself would not do. He had courage, devotion and the respect and admiration of those of us who served under him. America will never know the true loss of this man. If he had lived he would have made America more proud but we will never know what he could have accomplished. Rest in Peace. |
