| Jon and I were raised together about one block from each other in Fort Meade, Florida. We were friends from kindergarden and graduated from high school in the same class, 1965. He was in a word, special. He was one of the best and brightest. He was always a friend, always. Jon always was smiling and laughing. A GREAT GUY. He went off to West Point, I would see him when he came home. He believed in the Viet Nam War and loved his country. He later became a lawyer and had his practice in Lakeland, Florida. I was a cop, so I was able to see him now and then. He is missed, I loved the guy. |
