Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Charles Vasquez on June 9, 2002:

Ken Yonan was a man of God. Ken was my roommate in Viet Nam. I was with Ken just a few days before he died. Ken said, "Charlie, if I die tommorow, I know that God loves me." I believe that Ken put on the Armor of God just before his death, see Ken died as a hero. When others ran to hide, Ken exposed himself to the enemy, when he climbed a water tower to direct fires on the enemy;thereby, eliminating any chance of his escape. We do not know if Ken died in the water tower or died during his captivity. I want to say, that I have never known a finer or braver man. He set an example for me that has lasted all my life.
