When I received word that Dave had passed away I stopped what I was doing at work because I was overcome by emotion. On 1 July '66 Dave and I became roomates along with Jim Crawford. We came from West Virginia, Washington State & Philly and helped each other endure that memorable summer. I did not stay in touch with Dave after graduation but will always feel the closeness that came from what we experienced together so many years ago. Well Done, Dave. Be Thou at Peace. |
