| LTC Zacherl was like a father to me and a huge influence on my Army career. I served with him at Fort Sill Oklahoma when I was a brand new First Lieutenant. I trained with his Battalion and he taught me so much about being an exceptional officer and about ethics and honor. I am incredibly sorry to hear that he is gone. The world really needs people like him. May he rest in peace. I wish I could thank him and tell him how much he meant to me. |
