| I served as a Lieutenant in the battalion command of LTC Donald Zacherl. He was a fine officer and it was an honor to be in his command. He was a positive influence and interested in the professional development of all he was incontact with. His humor was fascinating. He was a great mentor and a wonderful friend. My prayers go out to his family that they might be comforted and blessed. |
