it was my honor to play football with kingsley (discom 75 and 76....pacific service champions in 76...king was the qb, i was his running back) while stationed with the 25th inf in hawaii. kingsley and his usma friends (cliff / pete) tried their best to coach me, but i was young (and very dumb) and much too immature, refusing to accept the interpersonal skills they also tried to teach me. thoughout my life i have always regetted this. while surfing the web today, i was shocked this fine man passed away so long ago, and much too early. i am proud to say i played ball (football and baseball) with him. i am proud to say he touched my life. god bless his family. |
