Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Frank Keechi on January 5, 2020:

I did not know Danny from my years at West Point - I joked with him last year that maybe he had hazed me as a plebe and now it was my turn!

I came to know Danny about a year ago when I hired him as a partner consultant to our DOD contracting business (I'm chairman of the board) to help us grow to $1B in sales. He had strong skills in mergers, acquisitions and was an obvious talent and leader of others.

He had a brilliant mind, boundless energy considering his fight against cancer and impressive credentials in the competitive field of 8a contracting particularly in IT.

We visited almost weekly over the last year and somewhere along the way he surprised me with his personal health journey - there was no hint of it in my dealings with him

It was only a brief time ago that we last spoke - most likely on his last day with us. We talked of the great journey we had planned, the importance and generational impact we would have on future lives and how much he had contributed to our cause. I'm proud to have included him on my list of friends and deeply saddened at his untimely passing.

Rest In Peace my friend, and may it be said well done - be thou at peace. you left your mark and the world is better off because of your contributions.
