I served with Kevin as a fellow second lieutenant in Company C, 1/72nd Armor in Korea from March 1976 to the Spring of 1977. As a brand new second lieutenant, Kevin set an example in professionalism, partiotism, candor, and committment to excellence. After our tour of duty in Korea, I lost touch with Kevin, but even now I would like to express my sympathy to his family. He influenced me in a very positive manner back in 1976, and I will never forget his sense of humor and ability to remain calm on a continuous basis. LTC(R) Justin F. Blum |
