| I'm so glad to have visited with Jody at our Class '77 Luncheon in Washington, DC this past July 2nd. My first meeting with Jody occured 31 years ago while we were plebe football teammates. His friendly smile and overall good-nature made him a team favorite. Throughout my cadet years, though we were not close, I always enjoyed bumping into him on the go and sharing a quick laugh. Seeing him again this many years after graduation, I belatedly learned of the numerous challenges he faced in his life. When we shared a brief embrace at our last meeting, you could sense the many burdens he was bearing. Rest easy now old friend....you will not be forgotten by your classmates. Thank you for bringing your warmth into our lives. To Jody's family, I send my deepest condolences. |
