Jody helped me when we were in the reserves together -- and reading these eulogies it's obvious that is a theme - Jody helping people. He deserved the world -- we lost touch for a bit, but I was happy to catch up with him about 18 months ago. He was happier than I had ever known him. We talked a few times. I learned that he was finally out of his second marriage that had brought him farther down than he had ever been, he talked about renewing ties to his son and daughter, of feeling better, of the strengthening bond and love from a more than 20 year friendship that helped him through bad and good times and that had taught him to enjoy and laugh again. I pray that God is helping him to continue the feelings of joy and love that he had finally returned to -- Jody you helped us all.
