| I am honored to have served under COL Brian D. Allgood. To his family, I can only offer my sincere prayers and kind words of remembrance of this leader of honor. I am truly sorry for your loss. After departing Korea I met up again with COL Allgood in Baghdad, Iraq. He was doing what he always does; greeting Soldiers with a smile, sharing his genuine thanks, and always relaxed while he enjoyed life. It really made my day as we caught up with each other. Departing, I shook his hand and looked him in the eye, and have been reaffirmed how important every word and every action throughout every day is paramount. COL Allgood, I will never forget. I will never forget... |
