Be Thou At Peace

| Brian was and will always be a true inspiration to many of us who had the fortunate chance to work with him. I was a member of Company I-1 in the Class of 1983 where Brian was a mentor and encouraged many of us who were interested in medicine. We later crossed paths on several occasions through our military medical careers, last at Womack Army Hospital where I was an ophthalmologist. Despite his many great achievements he was an example of humility. He was a man of steady purpose, an eternal optomist, and he lead more by deeds than words. I was deeply saddened to hear of Brian's death. I know like many I won't forget him. |
