I've known about Tom's death for a number of years. I wrestled with Tom on the Corp squad team daily for two years, since he was 177lb and I was 190lb. I've never known a man who put forth so much intensity and effort to win, regardless of whether he could win or not. I found a picture of the wrestling team recently and saw his confident grin that belied his intensity for living life. Had I not known Tom, my life would have been changed for the worse. He, and his famly, introduced me to my wife on a wrestling trip to Bethlehem, PA against Lehigh. He said he and his sister had someone they'd like me to meet because we were both good friends. I thank Tom for that. |
