Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Jake Brown on December 21, 2013:

I haven't seen Lee in years, but his untimely death still hits hard. Just last weekend at Army-Navy a few of us were swapping stories about Lee, never guessing that we would never see him again.

Whenever I picture Lee, I see a huge grin and a twinkle in his eye, and hear him saying something (intentionally) outlandish. And everyone is having a good time.

He was a character. Fun. Genuine. Original. Funny. Trustworthy. Straight-forward. Honest. He was a good person and a good friend. And we will miss him.

My love and prayers go out to his family. I only hope that they can take some solace in knowing that his friends will be fondly recalling memories of Lee until the end of their days.

Lee, until we meet again.
