| Marc, the opportunity to get to know you better these past few years was one that I will always be grateful for. Your warm and engaging sense of humor, your hunger for strong leadership, your alternative yet age- appropriate taste in music, your willingness to question the established and accepted "truth," and maybe most of all your smoldering and burgeoning interest in faith served as a tremendous source of humble fascination and respectful admiration for me, and I looked forward to our frequent interaction, as I was always the richer for it. As I move forward, I feel as though I have been robbed of the potential of the trusting and mutually uplifting relationship we were building, and that I will always be the poorer for it. Rest well, gentle giant, and never stop searching and hoping to believe. May God speed you home. |
