Be Thou At Peace

| Deeply shocked and saddened to hear that Mark has passed. We met and became good friends in 1987 at Ft Benning as classmates at the Infantry Officers Basic Course and went on to serve together in Korea in 1st Brigade, 2nd Division (Mark's Dad took command of 2nd Brigade while we were there). Parted company after Korea but then renewed our friendship a number of years later. Mark was a wonderful man and a true friend. Always a gentleman, and one of the most decent, considerate men I have ever known. I will miss his thoughtful, introspective humor. God Speed my old friend. See you on the drop zone. |
