Rob, I drank coffee in the early morning hours today from a Minnesota mug in your honor. I bought it during the trip to say farewell to you at your funeral. I had a silent toast to you, my friend, and to Holly, and your entire dear extended family. You are dearly missed and will always be remembered--your strength, amazing sense of humor and wonderful skills as a husband, dad and officer were world class. See you on the high ground there in the Promised Land someday where we can share a beverage and some great fellowship. In memory always, Michael Hughes (Class of 1977) |
