| I am still in shock that David (Snods) has left us. He was so bigger than life. A true patriot, father, husband and soldier. I remember the long nights as roommates, him struggling with math (He was a much better writer!), me just trying to stay awake. We would do 'word wars', trying to come up and use as big a word as we could find in a sentence. He usually beat me. Loved him like a brother. He was the best man at my wedding. I remember going to his wedding the following year, staying at the Hale Springs Inn (I think). Cindy was a beautiful bride, and David a handsome groom. Our contact over the years was sporadic at best, but he would often come to my thoughts, now more than ever. He is and always will be greatly missed. See you on the high ground, Snods! |
