Sir, I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet you. Your legacy has been a true inspiration. Your example has been weighing heavy on my mind as I get ready to deploy with my platoon to OEF in a few short days. I haven't been to your graveside since my graduation week nearly two years ago, but plan to visit when I come home. I look at my class ring and it reminds me how all members of the Long Grey Line are eternally linked. I hope your family and friends take comfort in the fact that your sacrifice has not been forgotten all these years later and in the fact that you impacted so many lives for the better...and that is the greatest success.
