Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Rob Orlando (D3 - 1989) on August 31, 2007:

James -

It's been many years since we roomed together 1st semester cow year. You were the only roommate that I ever had during my 4 years at WP that would do handstands in the room. You spirit, great attitude, and perpetual smile were an example to everyone.

I'll never forget doing those stick resistance drills with you in beast barracks. For such a guy small in stature you were huge in heart and strength. I looked forward to the days when someone was missing in line and I got to work out with someone else that didn't punish me or push me so hard.

When I heard about your passing it was quite a shock. We haven't been in touch since school and now you are gone. Another constant reminder that life is short and every moment should be treasured.

And when our work is done
Our course on earth is run
Let it be said, well done,
Be thou at peace

Delta Heat James!
