John Lewis, I remember those early plebe days... John and Trudy? Trudy and John? "We're just friends! Best friends!" Trudy would say. Carla, Sandy, and I knew better. John did too! He knew exactly what he wanted and he was not going to stop until he and Trudy were together completely. I remember John as a permanent fixture in our lives back then. I, too, remember his bright white smile and his deep belly laugh booming down the hallways, but I also remember his confidence. He was confident in himself and he empowered the people around him. I loved his sense of humor, his wittiness, and his ability to laugh at himself. I will always treasure my memories of John. God Bless you, my friend! Trudy, I love you!
