ITS BEEN ALMOST TWO LONG YEARS SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN GONE, I WAS CLOSER TO YOU THAN MOST. SEEING THAT OUR DOORS WERE THREE FEET APART IN TAJI. GETTING TO KNOW THE REAL CPT PAINE WAS AWESOME. I WOULD COME OUT OF MY ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND THERE HE WOULD BE SMOKING AND THE FIRST THING HE WOULD DO WAS ASK ME FOR A GATORADE. AND WE WOULD SIT AND TALK ABOUT THINGS WE WOULD DO WHEN WE GOT HOME FROM IRAQ. I WISH YOU WERE STILL HERE BECAUSE I KNOW WE WOULD HAVE KEPT IN TOUCH. YOU ALWAYS CARED ABOUT EVERY SOLDIER AND EVERY FAMILY MEMBER LIKE THEY WERE YOUR OWN AND THATS WHY TO THIS DAY I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. REST IN PEACE SIR. BAYONETS!!!! |
