Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Christopher Liebe on August 29, 2009:

John:

I will never forget the times we shared as roommates. I am sure it was doing pushups or some other 'important' physical task as plebes, but you told me the first time we met and you looked over and saw the airborne tatoo, you were scared. That always brought a smile to my face as I watched you grow from a high school kid to a brother in arms. You thought I was the one teaching you, but it was the other way around my friend. You have grown into such a warrior and gave the ultimate sacrifice for us. I am forever grateful for every minute we shared, and the lives you have changed through your courage and candor. Our country is a better place because John Hallett left his mark. You will not be forgotten. Until we meet again, much love my brother.
