| I had the privilege to get to know Joe during Buckner, as he was in my sister squad. He, Jarred,Dukie, the 2 Shawns... were usually joking around and sharing sunflower seeds while I was off repeating some army task. He was such a wonderful person and his smile could brighten anyone's bad day. He definitely could have been cocky with his good looks and charming personality, but he was so down to earth and exceptionally nice. Thanks for the laughs. Thanks for the memories. I'm sure, wherever you are, you can still touch a million by smiling down upon them. ( Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.. and when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.) Peace Joe, always. |
