Drew was a friend to me through prep school, West Point, Infantry Basic, Ranger School, first assignment in Hawaii, Mechanized Leaders Course, reporting to Fort Hood, TX together, and deploying to Iraq together twice as staff officers and commanders. I will deeply miss Drew's sarcastic sense of humor and jovial laugh. He was also a man of great character and integrity who expected nothing less than the standard. He was a Montana man who loved his country, his family, and this Army. Drew thanks for making life such a great ride for us all and we will never forget you, my friend. We will stand our ground here in Iraq and continue to fight in your honor. |
