Be Thou At Peace

Posted by SFC Richard Baker on April 15, 2009:

CPT Pearson was my Platoon Leader At the 2-5Inf. When I first met him, I knew he would be a great Platoon Leader just by the way he stuck by His NCO's and was quick to ask for help when he needed it. (I don't think he really needed help) He was always on top of things and was very professional at all times! I would have followed him anywhere. As a matter of fact, when we were in Afghanistan back in 05' I asked him where he was going so that I could be his Platoon SGT. He was a Good man and a Better Father and Husband. He led from the front and never left anyone behind. He always wanted to lead his men through any type of mission. Very smart, and didn't take crap from anyone!

Cpt Pearson I will miss you dearly, your motivation, support and your knowledge! You showed me the "other side of the coin" and made me realize that there is more to life than going straight ahead! I will miss you 'Sir'.
